This pub is great.

The rooms are comfortable and nicely put together. The pub has a great atmosphere with good food and drinks menus.

Jo, the owner is really accommodating. It’s the perfect place to stay, especially if you’re walking the Weaver’s Way.

This is a great pub.

Three of us visited today and received a warm welcome by all the staff, we all decided to have the plated Sunday roast which was in our opinion one of the best we had ever had, the meat was cooked to perfection, the roast potatoes were nice and crispy, and the Yorkshire puddings were very large, everything was full of flavour and presented beautifully.

Our compliments go to the chef, we very much look forward to visiting again soon. Thank you to all at the Falgate pub.

Great Restaurant.

Food was amazing - had chicken fajitas and the special Canadian chicken. Lovely staff.

Outside very comfortable. Lovely seating areas and a good child’s play area.

​

Lots of improvements. Large screens. Not far to walk from Herbert Woods.

Great Restaurant

Had a very nice homemade pizza and a chicken curry. The food was excellent and the service good.

We visited with friends, and the landlady made us very welcome, I'm a wheelchair user, and they had a good, strong foldaway metal ramp, which made my life easier to get into the restaurant.

Once inside, I was directed to a large round table, which I could get my wheelchair under. The landlady and the waitress were very attentive, which made our stay there very welcoming.

This is the second time we've stopped by after visiting the Norfolk Wildlife Trust and both times we were served by welcoming, friendly, helpful staff and served amazing, well-seasoned food.

This was a highlight of our day, and we look forward to coming back. I had the Sunday turkey roast (with the best Yorkshire puddings ever) and hubby had the BBQ chicken wings and it was worth the price.

​

Whilst we were both full having eaten our mains, we shared the Belgium waffle with salted caramel ice cream which was a perfect end to the meal.

Quaint local pub, with a lovely main bar, with seating area and restaurant room, plus seating outside with an enormous tv!

The staff are very friendly and very helpful( and pretty)! The meals are plentiful and very well presented. This was our first visit here, but it won't be our last!

​

We tend to lunch out all over Norfolk and this is high on our list for both good and drinks, and prices!

Let’s start with excellent. We walked up from the marina to see what it was like. A warm welcome, great log burner, super atmosphere with friendly customers and great staff.

There are sports TVs all over, but the sound is kept down. If I lived here, it would definitely be my local. The following night we decided to eat there. The food was sublime - so much so that we went back twice and were never disappointed.

The chef was brilliant as were all of the staff. They ensured that my dietary needs were well met. They have a pool table and a dartboard.

​

Although at this time of the year, most places close early, they never rushed us out.

This place is a must.
